KRTV just did a piece about local bloggers and asked me to say a few words on the process, which is a bit like asking J.D. Salinger why he still insists on flooding the market with his books. But if you’re interested, here’s the piece on my blog, which you’re reading now. How meta can this get?

Thanks, guys…I think i wound up on the news ’cause I was the only one they could find at home on a Sunday. Virtually any other blogger in town would have been more qualified, but hey—I’m happy to jump on that grenade.

That was funny. Not that you were on it (though that was right up there), it’s funny that the local news just discovered blogging. Maybe they’ll scoop the news in Butte and report on this new-fangled thing called the Internet.
